Platform fees
Fees are generated across our product suite each time a user engages with one of our products.
Tip: Protocols such as Brewlabs often generate fees to ensure future development, fund reward pools and reinvest to generate and sustain long term growth.
About
Like most established protocols on-chain Brewlabs generates revenue through user product interaction. Various types of fees exist across our ecosystem, mostly fixed and percentage based. Fees are generated across all products, networks and affiliated domains. All fees generated point toward our treasury address. Once fees arrive in our treasury address, they are distributed once per week (usually on a weekend) to the following designations.
50.00% of all fees earned are utilised in INDX Strategy index.
50% of all fees earned are distributed to Brewlabs
What type of fees are there in the products?
We have four categories of fees we generate
Performance fees are baked into the gas of each transaction and are fixed per network, per transaction. Common performance fee examples include:
Creating or purchasing a sale on the marketplace is around $2.00 USD
Compounding a position in a staking pool or liquidity token pool is around $2.00 USD
Claiming earned rewards from NFT staking is around $2.00 USD
Platform fees are often percentage based fees, although not as common as performance fees, still contribute to the overall revenue of the protocol: Common percentage based platform fee examples include:
Sales on the marketplace incur 0.30% of the total listing sale price
Indexes have a 0.25% fee on each entry and exit by a user
Swaps have a 0.10% swap fee
simplebridge has a 0.10% bridge fee on each transaction
Common fixed based platform fee examples include:
Mint fees for BREW NFT's incur 100.00 in USDC and 100 BREW (BREW is burnt)
Upgrade fees for BREW NFT's incur 50.00 in USDC and 33 BREW (BREW is sent to treasury)
Airdrop fees approximately $0.10 USDC (per address)
Trading fees are strictly related to the buying and selling of the BREW token on the Base Uniswap v2 liquidity pool. Each time a user swaps within this specific pool a fee 3.50% of the swap value is charged to the user. All other liquidity pools are free of any token taxes. This fee is made up of the following:
3.00% sent to the treasury address in ETH
0.50% BREW token burn on the transaction value
Royalties are rare and arrive only when a sale of the BREW NFT occurs on the marketplace. In each sale specific to our BREW NFT collection, a 5.00% fee on the total sale value is sent to the treasury address.
Tip: Fees are displayed on each product page.
